It was really good this cafe was open on a Saturday in January. The cafe is nice and modern and it was quite busy. On a cold dreich day I was glad of a nice hot bowl of lentil soup.

This is not our first visit so not sure why I did not review this lovely cafe last time. Staff are super helpful and friendly and the coffee and cake are amazing. It’s very dog friendly with treats to help yourself for dogs and dog treats to buy. Water bowls and tap for water. Very clean and today. All the staff at the castle are really helpful and friendly.

Great staff! Gluten-free soup and gluten-free cakes are available. Gluten-free crisps also. Coeliac safe cakes available too (individually wrapped). Several dairy-free alternative milks are available for coffee. Dogs welcome.

This place is so good and people who work here make it even a greater experience. We went there with family today and my 1 year old daughter spilled coffee all over my sister. A fantastic colleague came and took away my daughters wet shoes to dry them up. The other colleague patiently cleaned the spill. I didn't get a chance to personally thank the the team for all their help as there was a lot going on with us but if I may take this opportunity to thank the lovely lady with an English accent for her help and her lovely chat. I would highly recommend this place. The food and drinks are top notch too.
